MILTON-FREEWATER - Deborah L. "Debbie" Goodwin, 54, of Milton-Freewater, died Wednesday, July 27, 2005, at Walla Walla General Hospital.

A memorial service will be held at 5 p.m. Saturday, July 30, at Munselle-Rhodes Funeral Home, 902 S. Main, in Milton-Freewater.

Mrs. Goodwin was born April 12, 1951, at Ephrata, Wash., to Loyd and Josephine Macadoo Maggard. She was raised at Soap Lake, Wash., where she attended school.

On July 16, 1969, she married Marvin Goodwin at Walla Walla. The couple had three sons. Mrs. Goodwin was a homemaker, raising her sons and taking care of the family. She enjoyed traveling, camping, snowmobiling, 4-wheeling and spending time with her grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband, Marvin Goodwin, at the home, sons, Joe Goodwin of Milwaukie, Tim Goodwin of Weston, and Brian Goodwin of Milton-Freewater; her mother, Josephine Maggard of Milton-Freewater, Oregon; brothers, Loyd Maggard of Delta Junction, Alaska, Frank Maggard of Ephrata, Wash., and Tim Maggard of Ellensburg, Wash.; a sister, Barbara Frank of Kalispell, Mont., four grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
