Anna Marie Morrison, age 74, of Adrian, passed away on February 4, 2018, at Michigan Medicine in Ann Arbor. She was born on June 25, 1943, in Pontiac, Michigan to Edward and Mae (Graves) Morearty. On February 20, 1965, in Waterford, Michigan she married Donald Morrison and he survives. Anna worked for JCPenney in Southfield as a clerk in the catalogue department and for the Royal Oak Postal Employee’s Credit Union as a clerical manager – working both jobs for many years. She enjoyed gardening, crocheting, sewing, and loved to travel with her husband.
In addition to her husband, Donald, Anna is survived by two daughters, Cynthia Morrison of Ypsilanti and Christine Morrison of Ferndale; two sons, John (Stephania) Morrison of Troy and James Morrison of Adrian; and six grandchildren, Joshua, Jacob, Jeremy, Joseph, Eilie, and Callam. She was preceded in death by her parents and four brothers, Edward, Daniel, Robert, and David Morearty.
Visitation for Anna will be held on Friday, February 9, 2018, from 2-5 and 6-8 p.m. at Anderson-Marry Funeral Home, Adrian. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 10, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. at Anderson-Marry Funeral Home, Adrian. Cremation to follow.
