Elizabeth Boots, daughter of Jesse and Sarah (Thornburg) Boots, first married Jacob Louden Spahr in Ohio, shortly after their marriage (1849) they moved to Jay County, Indiana, where their 3 children were born: Charles 1852; Sarah L 1855; and Luetta 1857. Jacob died in Tennessee during the Civil War and is buried at Stones River National Cemetery.. Shortly after his death, Elizabeth married John L. Walker, he preceded her in death and they are buried together.
