Sarah Ann Fisher, age 92, of Corbin, passed away Sunday, February 4, 2018 at Baptist Health in Corbin. She was a daughter of the late Garrett and Suda Hubbard Cobb, born to them on March 12, 1925 at Sprule in Knox County.

Mrs. Fisher retired from the Warners of Barbourville, and was a member of the Heidrick Holiness Church.

On January 5, 1946, she united in marriage to Russell Fisher and to this union two sons: Arthur and Dewayne, and one daughter: Linda were born.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Russell Fisher on November 21, 1979, and also by four brothers and six sisters.

She is survived by her loving family: Her two sons: Arthur Fisher and fiancee' Vera Spurlock of Corbin, and Dewayne Fisher and wife, Cheryl of Barbourville. Her daughter: Linda Fisher Hinkle and husband, Landon of Corbin. Her grandchildren: Steven Scott Fisher of Lexington, Kentucky; Christopher Fisher of Cannon, Kentucky; Timothy Dewayne Fisher and wife, Marty of Bartolo, Florida; Rebecca Anne Cope and husband, David Mitchell Cope of Spring Valley, Ohio; Tessinee Denise Bereczky of Lexington, Kentucky; Kelly Nicole Roberts and husband, Geoff and Lisa Nicole Lang of Wixom, Michigan. Her eleven grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Her brother: Garrett William Cobb of Corbin; and her sister: June Jones of Piqua, Ohio; and many nieces and nephews, and other relatives and dear friends to mourn her passing.

Funeral Services for Sarah Ann Fisher will be 2:00 P.M. Friday, February 9, 2018 in the Hopper Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Herby Hoskins officiating. Burial will follow in the Fisher Cemetery at Heidrick.

Those serving as Pallbearers will be Grandsons of Mrs. Fisher.

Those serving as Honorary Pallbearers will be: the Residents and Staff of the Friendship House In Corbin.

The Fisher family will receive friends at the Hopper Funeral Home after 6:00 P.M. on Thursday, and after 9:00 A.M. on Friday and until the funeral hour.
