Blanche Jane Means was born September 25, 1940 in Beaver County, OK, to Miron Earl and Grace (Bowles) Gilbert. She graduate high school and worked as a secretary for J&S Sand Company. Jane has been a resident of Beaver for the last ten years.

Jane passed on Saturday, January 20, 2018 at her residence in Beaver, OK at the age of 77.

Jane is survived by her sons, Clayton Means of Beaver, Oklahoma and Carlton Means of Wichita, Kansas and Clifton Means of El Dorado, Kansas; sisters Ruby Wells of Fruita, Colorado, and LaVeta Joy Hush of Plains, Kansas; 16 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.

Memorials are to the Beaver Volunteer Fire Department.



A memorial is scheduled for February 3, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. at the Beaver County Fairgrounds Pavilion where the family is going to host a JANE TYPE meeting and go over Janes History along with a celebration of life. Family and friends are invited.
