Viola McKinney, 88, of Colmesneil, died Sunday, February 4, 2018 at Avalon Place in Kirbyville, Texas.
Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 8, at Adams EE Stringer Funeral Home in Buna with burial at Morse Cemetery in Buna.
Born July 31, 1929 in Gist, Texas, she was a lifelong resident of the Buna area.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie "Bill" McKinney; son, Willie "Billie" McKinney; and a grandson, B.J. McKinney.
Survivors include a son, John McKinney and wife Lolita; daughters, Janie Weatherford and husband Barney, Bonnie Tucker and husband Daniel; LaVinia Montalvo and husband Pete; Melissa Vaughn and husband Terry, and Penny Vasquez and husband Richard; 24 grandchildren, 46 great grandchildren, and 8 great-great grandchildren.
