Actor. Born in Essex, England, he was a dependable British supporting actor in both films and television. He made his first screen appearance in "Seven Days to Noon" (1950) and went on to appear in over 50 films. Often playing military roles, his credits include "His Excellency" (1950), "Time Bomb" (1953), "The Cockleshell Heroes" (1955), "Abandon Ship" (1957) and "Exodus" (1960). For television, he was a regular on shows such as "The Saint", "The Adventures of Robin Hood", "Carry On Laughing!", "The Dick Emery Show", "C.A.B." and many more. He died in London, England, at the age of 65.
