A native of Spartanburg, she was a daughter of the late Alfred C. and Jennie Allison Hipp, a former employee of Stone Manufacturing and member of Apalache Baptist Church.
Surviving are her husband, Queenie Lewis Ray of the home; three sons, Michael Davis (Joy) of Roebuck, Ricky Ray of Greer and Tim Ray of Charlotte, NC; one sister, Shirley Hipp Shirley of Lexington, SC; two brothers, Bobby Hipp of Greer and Johnny Hipp of Landrum; three grandchildren, Brandon Ray (Laura), Kevin Davis and Ashley Smalley (David) and two great-grandchildren.
She was also predeceased by one brother, Paul Hipp.
Funeral services will be held 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at Apalache Baptist Church, conducted by Rev. Eddie Cooper. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memory Gardens.
