She was the daughter of Guy O. Alexander and Lou Ellen Alexander and the wife of Harrison W. Nelson. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, 3 brothers, Arnold Alexander, Wayne Alexander and Farris Alexander and son in law, Lyndon White.
She is survived by 4 daughters, Aquila White, Rhoda (Elvin) Parker, Vondeca (Gary) Smith and AquaDavon (Darren) Yerby; 1 son, Jarrison W. (Casey) Nelson brothers, Nathaniel Alexander, Ray Alexander, and Jimmy Alexander; sister, Linda McDonald; 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
Funeral service was held on Thursday, Feb. 8, 2018 at Parkway Funeral Home, at 2 pm with Rev. Lucky Teague and Rev. Jim Nelson officiating.
