Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Linda Vaughn.
Survivors include five children, Janie Knieriem, Teri Reed and William Canfield, all of English, and Louis Vaughn Jr. and Kenny Jennette, both of Corydon; a brother, Les Vaughn of Louisville; and seven grandchildren.
