Mr. Calvin Thompson, 65, of Columbia, died Thursday, Feb. 1 at Maury Regional Medical Center.
Visitation will be Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Baxter Bros. Funeral Home. Funeral will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Bellafant Tabernacle with burial following in Rosemount Cemetery.
Calvin was the son of the late Jim Henry and Josephine Thompson. He was born and reared in Spring Hill and employed by Lyon Ford in Lewisburg. He was a loving father and companion and enjoyed detailing cars and cutting grass.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Jim Thompson.
He leaves to cherish his memory four children, Crystal, Elizabeth, Randy and Keson Thompson; two brothers, Billy and James Thompson; one sister, Bobbie Thompson; devoted companion, Annie Sharp and her son Chris Crawford; 11 grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
