June F. Sumser age 90, Hamilton, died Saturday, January 27, 2018 at Garden Manor Care Center. She was born in Hamilton on June 8, 1927 the daughter of Frank and Muriel (Nogle) Asplan. She was a 1946 graduate of Fairfield High School and married Ralph Sumser in Hamilton on August 20, 1949 and he preceded her in death in 1996. She had been employed at Ohio Casualty, Hamilton Tool and the Edgewood School District ( Seven Mile School). June was a member of Redeemer Church, Ohio Farm Bureau and sewing and quilting clubs. She enjoyed gardening, reading, cooking and traveling. She is survived by her son, David (Deborah) Sumser, Seven Mile; daughter, Sandra (Frank) Fragleasso, Golden, Colorado; brother, Donald (Katherine) Asplan, Hamilton; three grandchildren, Jennifer (Marcus) McCullum, Steven Fragleasso and Sarah (Arnulfo) Serrano and three great grandchildren, Enya McCullum, David McCullum and Gavin Serrano. Funeral services will be held at Noon on Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at Weigel Funeral Home, 980 N. W. Washington Blvd. with Pastor Kim Katterheinrich officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
