Mark Lee Stephens, 68, of Greenwood, IN passed away on Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at Community Hospital South in Indianapolis, IN from a stroke.
Mark was born in Mishawaka, IN to Claude Stephens and Mariann Kocsis Stephens Martin. Mark was proceeded in death by his father, Claude Stephens; his sister, Claudia Kay Stephens and his step-father, Charles R. Martin Sr.
He is survived by his mother, Mariann and step-brothers, Charles [Kendra] Martin of MD and David [Ann] Martin of CT.
Mark graduated from Mishawka High School 1967. He enlisted following graduation into the Marine Corp. Mark was a Crew Chief on a Huey Helicopter and served in Vietnam. He was discharged in August 1973. He lived in California for 17 years before returning to Indiana and lived in the Indianapolis area. He retired from Amtrak.
