Dora Linda Switzer, age 72 of Louisville, passed away Saturday, February 3, 2018 at Blount Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Switzer was a lifelong resident of the Louisville area and was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
She was the daughter of the late Pib and Lerma Gentry and was preceded in death by her husband, Evert Owen Switzer; brothers, Henry and Bobby Gentry; and sister-in-law, Mary Switzer.
Linda is survived by her Son, Aaron Switzer and good friend, Ty Pyles; Four grandchildren; Brother and sister-in-law, Paul and Becky Gentry; Sisters-in-law, Lynn Gentry and Doris Gentry; Brothers-in-laws and sisters-in-law, Robert Switzer, Thom Switzer, Rick and Cindy Switzer, and Cathy and Connie Switzer; and many nieces, nephews and other family also survive.
A Celebration of Linda's life will be held on Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at 1:00pm in the Smith Trinity Chapel with the Interment to follow at Old Ballards Chapel Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service starting at 12:00 pm at Smith Funeral & Cremation Service, Maryville, 983-1000.
