Nellie Louise Hawkins, 78, of Louisville, passed away Tuesday, March 30, 2004, at Meadows South Nursing Home.
She was the former Nellie Louise Stewart, a native of Sonora, KY, and a member of Carlisle Avenue Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Cliff Hawkins, sisters, Frances Thompson and Pauline Ballard, and her brothers, Albert Lee, James and Harold Stewart.
She is survived by a brother-in-law and many nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at O.D. White & Sons, with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens-West. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. Thursday and after 9 a.m. Friday. Expressions of sympathy may go to her church.
