EAST BRUNSWICK - DOLORES M. (CHMIEL) PARUSA died on Saturday, February 3, 2018, at The Elms of Cranbury. She was 82.

Born in Jersey City, she resided there before moving to East Brunswick 52 years ago.

Prior to retiring, Mrs. Parusa was a bus driver for the Marlboro Township Board of Education.

She was predeceased by her brother, Joseph Chmiel in 2000 and her son, Howard Parusa Jr. in 2016.

Surviving are her husband of 65 years, Howard Parusa Sr.; three sons, Steven of Pawleys Island, SC; Thomas and his wife, Linda, of East Brunswick, Robert of Sayreville and her daughter, Susan Whiting of Monmouth Junction; her sister, Diane Chmiel, of Nutley; her brother, Kenneth Chmiel of Manchester, PA; her brother, Ronnie Chmiel of Elizabethtown, PA; her daughter in law, Christine Parusa; 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Friends may call on Saturday, 2/10, from 1-3 PM at The BRUNSWICK MEMORIAL HOME, 454 Cranbury Road, East Brunswick, where a memorial service will be held at 2:30 PM.
