Clara E. Dixon (nee Hubbard), age 77, of Merrillville, IN, passed away Friday, February 2, 2018. Clara is survived by two of her children: Eddy Cabot (Ann) Dixon; Denise (David) Gupton of Murray, KY; daughter-in-law: Christie (the late Jamison) Dixon of Virginia, MN; nine grandchildren: Kirsten, Jessica, Samuel, Morgan, Benjamin, Nathan, Danielle, Spencer, and Braden; five great-grandchildren; brother, Daugh; sisters: Ruby and Axie. Clara was preceded in death by her husband, Spencer Dixon; son: Jamison Dixon; parents: William and Hester Hubbard; sister, Margaret; and brothers: Herman and Willie Wayne. Clara enjoyed being with family and friends, good conversation, watching her grandchildren, and crafts of all kinds. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 7, 2018, at GEISEN FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, 7905 Broadway, Merrillville, IN 46410 from 3:00 PM until the time of the Funeral Service at 6:30 PM. Clara will be laid to rest at Calumet Park Cemetery.
