Judith S. Robbins, 88, of Watertown, passed away on Monday, June 26, 2017 at Watertown Regional Medical Center.
A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, July 5, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Watertown with Rev. Douglas Carter officiating. Burial will take place at Lutheran Cemetery in Watertown. Family and friends may gather for visitation at the church from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Hafemeister Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Watertown is serving the family.
Judith Shirley Weege was born on February 24, 1929, the daughter of George and Ursula (nee Krubsack) Weege. After her mother’s passing, she was raised by her stepmom Gertrude Weege. On August 21, 1955, she married Alfred “Al” Robbins at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Oconomowoc. He preceded her in death on March 10, 1976. She had been employed as an RN in the OB Department at St. Mary’s Hospital in Watertown, and later at Watertown Hospital.
She is survived by her daughters, Laurie (John) Korajczyk of Tyngsborough, MA and Dawn (John) Smith of Watertown; grandsons, Travis Backhaus and Timothy Korajczyk; siblings: Ernest “Ernie” (Mary) Weege, Edith (Gilbert) Walter, Sandra Pritzlaff, Wayne (Sue) Weege, James Weege and Patrick (Phyllis) Weege; sisters-in-law, Francis Weege, Juanita Ehrke, and Doris (Donald) Wilke, as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was further preceded in death by her parents; son, Jonathan Robbins; granddaughters, Kristen Korajczyk and Christina Backhaus in infancy and siblings, George Weege, Dolores Levit, Susan (Thomas) August and Sally (Patrick) Clancy.
The family would like to thank Highland House for their compassionate care mom received for the last six years.
