Elaine E. Burgess (Nee Kamrath) passed away peacefully at the age of 90 in the early hours of February 1, 2018 surrounded by her loved ones.

Beloved wife of Carlton P. Burgess for 66 years. Loving mother of Karen Burgess, Diane (Don) Horan, Carlton (Mary Pat) Burgess Jr., and Robert Burgess. Cherished grandmother of Stacia (Chad) Rocheford, Ryan Curchy, Andrew Burgess, Patrick (Nozomi) Burgess, Kathryn Burgess, Nicholas and Lucas Burgess. Great-grandmother of Amelia O’Conner, Reese and Graham Rocheford and Yuna Joy Burgess. Also loved by other relatives and friends.

Preceded in death by cherished siblings Albert and Glenn Kamrath and Dolores Young.

She was a Registered Nurse and worked as a Courier Nurse on the Santa Fe Railroad and later at Columbia Hospital in the nursery, before devoting her life to her family.

Visitation at Covenant Lutheran Church, 8121 West Hope Avenue, Milwaukee, Wisconsin on Sunday, February 4, 2018, from 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM. Service at 3:00 PM. Private entombment at Wisconsin Memorial Park.

Memorials appreciated to Covenant Lutheran Church.
