GRANGER - Martha Hazel Minor, 77, of Granger, IN passed away at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at her home. She was born on April 7, 1940 in Middleton, Mississippi to the late William and Ruby Lee (Dill) Hendrix.
Martha is survived by her son, Gary Wharton of Osceola, IN; two grandchildren, Jennifer Parker of Pierceton, IN and Joshua Wharton of Granger, IN; sister, Eddie Lou Canales of Elkhart, IN; and brother, Robert Hendrix of South Bend, IN. She was preceded in death by her parents, son, Yancy Wharton and brother, Sammy Joe Hendrix .
Martha lived most of her life in South Bend. She worked as a seamstress for many years. She loved square dancing and watching game shows. Martha was very small in stature but very strong-willed.
The family will have a private service. Palmer Funeral Home-Guisinger Chapel is assisting the family.
