DECATUR -- Jenny Joanne Snyder, 84, of Decatur, passed away Friday, February 2, 2018 in Decatur Memorial Hospital.
Jenny was born April 20, 1933, in Mode, Illinois, daughter of Walter and Martha (Walls) Nichols. She was a devoted mother and grandmother. She enjoyed her family and her many friends at Heartland Nursing Home.
She leaves behind her children Brenda (Bill) Brown, Steve Jones (Candy Woosley), Tim Jones and Donnie (Heather) Pratt, Jr. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren. Also surviving is her sister Violet Sullivan, many nieces and nephews, and ex-husband Lyle Jones.
Jenny was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands-Don Pratt and LeRoy Snyder; three brothers and six sisters.
The family would like thank Shonda and all the staff at Heartland Nursing Home as well as DaVita Dialysis for their excellent care provided to our mother.
Services to celebrate Jenny’s life will be held at a later date.
