Stephen Joseph Grace 1950-2017

Stephen was born to Margie Siravo and Robert J. Grace in Cleveland, Ohio. He attended schools and later Riverdale Military School. His greatest accomplishment was earning his PI license from Case Western in Cleveland, Ohio.

He enlisted in the Navy, and while on the USS Cunningham, he was severely injured, spent quality time in VA hospitals back east, and finally VA hospitals in Salt Lake City and Boise. He worked for a time in Spokane with the newspaper. An opportunity came at the Idaho Statesman where he worked for 30 plus years and retired.

Stephen is survived by a step-sister in Cleveland, a brother and two sisters, his wife Marilyn (Aspitarte) Grace, and sister-in-law Cris (Aspitarte) Nelson.
He is preceded in death by his mother, father, step-mother, nieces, and cousins.

A service will be held Friday, January 12 at 11:00 am with a viewing one hour prior at Summers Funeral Home, Ustick Chapel. Interment will follow the service at the Idaho State Veterans Cemetery at 1:00 pm. Following the graveside service a reception will be held back at the funeral home.
