All the lives she touched knew her to be a classy and virtuous woman. She was patient, had a forgiving heart and possessed a dry humorous wit regardless of the situation. While these talents were a part of her character, she laughingly gave credit to her family for helping her to refine these traits yet tastefully declined to name names.
Her sudden passing from a newly discovered health condition meant she was blessed with no long term suffering.
She is additionally survived by her sisters Mary Eaton and Naomi Stinson; two daughters, Robin McKenzie Young and Roxanne Veatch; one son Larry Goodwin; daughter-in-law Shelia Goodwin and son-in-law Roger Young, MD; grandchildren Ace Burke, Lacy Knight, Shay Knight, Velvet Knight, Jordan McKenzie, Jared McKenzie, Dawn Goodwin, Alissa Goodwin, Kelli Young Haddox, Elizabeth Young, Corrine Young Weir; and numerous great grandchildren.
