She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Janet Paullus, aunt Mary Jane Rice and a much beloved grandson, Hunter Max Harrison.
She married Don Harrison on June 22, 1968 and was looking forward to celebrating their fiftieth wedding anniversary this June.
Survivors include her husband; daughter and son-in-law Amy and David Boor; son and daughter-in-law Todd and Mandy Harrison; grandchildren Dylan Boor, Katie Boor, Hannah Harrison, Lucas Harrison and Claire Harrison; brother-in-law David Harrison and his wife Donna and his daughters Autumn, Amber, and Sarah; cousins Nancy Teal, Ann Hodson and Betsy Smith.
After graduating from Staunton High School in 1964, Marian attended Indiana State University where she received her BS and MS, in education. She then spent the next forty years working for Clay Community Schools as a fourth grade teacher and later as a librarian.
Burial will follow the service at Summit Lawn Cemetery.
