She was born in Elba, NY February 11, 1923, the daughter of the late Almon and Grace Stalter Barber. Katie worked for Fisher Price in Medina, NY retiring in 1979. She volunteered for Senior Companion. Mother of Katherine J. Proefrock of Lockport, David C. Stevens of Lockport, Jerry L. (Becky) Stevens of Wilson, NY, Keith E. Stevens of Lockport, Sharon L. Stevens of Lockport and the late Kenneth Stevens. Mother in law of the late Jim Proefrock. Sister of the late twin sister Katherine Udell, Almon Barber and Jessie Sanmarco. Also survived by 16 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, 11 great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews
