Michelle A. Jeffery, 46 of Canton, MO formerly of Keokuk, died Sunday, February 12, 2017 at Blessing Hospital in Quincy, IL.

She was born December 15, 1970 in Keokuk, IA the daughter of Mary Alice Shoup.
Michelle graduated from Keokuk Senior High with the Class of 1988.

She had been employed at Rent-A-Center in Keokuk.

Michelle loved to read horror books by Stephen King and watch horror movies. She enjoyed putting puzzles together, coloring in adult coloring books, crocheting and lighthouses. Michelle loved lighthouses. She enjoyed listening to music, especially KISS and Cher. She loved spending time at work, with her family and cherished the time spent with her grandchildren.

Michelle is survived by two daughters, Hope Fox (Christopher) of Hamilton, IL and Jessica Jeffery (Anthony Johns) of Hamilton, IL, one son, Michael Hagmeier of Hamilton, IL, four grandchildren, Matea Fox, Terry Fox, Alexander Fox and Salem Johns, her mother, Mary Wood of Keokuk, one brother, Jesse Hagmeier (Ann) of Keokuk, one sister, Tina Owens of Keokuk, one step-sister, Lora Smith of Kahoka, MO, one step-brother, Leonard Arnold of Alaska, numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great nephews.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, step-father, Rusty Schneider and step-father, Ed Arnold.
