Ruby was born April 29, 1932, in Lockney, Texas, to Frank and Myrtle (Messer) Messimer. She married Gene Reynolds on April 6, 1950, in Clovis, New Mexico. Moving to Olton in 1956, Ruby was a long-time hairdresser and owned and operated Ruby's Hair Fashions. She was a member of the First Baptist Church. A talented seamstress and fabulous artist, Ruby loved spending time with her husband and could always be found by his side.
Ruby was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Gene Reynolds, and son, Lonnie Reynolds.
Survivors include her son, Randy Reynolds and his wife, Kang Sun, daughter, Marti Coleman, three grandchildren, Michael Reynolds, Karli Reynolds, and Alex.
