Susanne Marie Smith, 66, passed away Monday, January 29, 2018 at WellSpan York Hospital.
Born in York, Susanne was the daughter of the late Charles J. and Rita M. (Trulinous) Smith. She was a licensed practical nurse at York Hospital for over 40 years and a member of Immaculate Conception BVM Church.
The Memorial Mass will be 11 a.m. Friday, February 2, 2018 at St. Mary's Church, 309 S. George St., York, with the Rev. Jonathan P. Sawicki as celebrant. Visitation will be one hour prior to Mass. Burial will be in Holy Saviour Cemetery.
Ms. Smith (Susie) is survived by two siblings, Sister Rita Charles IHM and Charles J. Smith and wife, Emily of York; nieces and nephews, Rebecca (Lutz) Shiflet, Andrew Lutz, Angela Faulkner and husband, Beau, Rita Trulinous, Benjamin Smith and wife, Shawn, Alexandra Smith, Jacob Smith and Zachary Smith; as well as several great-nieces and nephews, whom she loved and cherished. She was preceded in death by three siblings, Michael C. Smith, David F. Smith and Mary Ann (Smith) Lutz; and one niece, April M. Smith.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Camilla Hall Nursing Home, P.O. Box 100, King and Frazer Roads, Immaculata, PA 19345-0100.
