Obituary: The Eldon Advertiser, March 1989

Eula Bond, 91, of Lee's Summit, a former Eugene resident, died March 7, 1989 at John Knox Care Center in Lee's Summit. She was born Jan. 28, 1898 in Tuscumbia to John L. ____ Blackburn.

On September 26, 1917, she was married in Jefferson City to W. Ray Bond, who died Feb. 2, 1968.

Mrs. Bond lived in the Eugene and Spring Garden communities all her life. She was a member of the Ninth Street Christian Church.

Surviving her are two daughters, Paulin Dolan of Kansas City and Joy______of Jamesport; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Phillips Funeral Home in Eldon. Burial will be in the Spring Garden Cemetery near Eugene.

Surviving her are two daughters, Pauline (Mrs. Richard Dale) Dolan of Kansas City and Joy Jemima (Mrs. Fredrick Walter) Dustman of Jamesport; seven grandchildren, Suzi Dolan James, Pat Dolan Foraker, Judy Dolan Wagner, Tim Dolan, Lynn, Bryce and Richard Dustman; and four great-grandchildren; Carrie and Kristin James, Brent and Mike Dustman.

Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. March 11 at Phillips Funeral Home in Eldon. Burial was at the Spring Garden Cemetery on Route AA north of the farm home where she had lived for 65 years.
