Graveside Services will be held on Saturday, February 3, 2018, at Johnson Family Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home on Friday Evening, February 2nd from 5:00 until 7:00 PM
Mrs. Bowden was born in Sylvania, Screven County, Georgia on February 14, 1939, to the late Forrest James Busbee, Sr. and Carrie Bell Bazemore Busbee. She was a homemaker who raised three children and was an avid reader who read and studied the entire Bible many times. She received diplomas from The United Christian International Bible Institute, and The United Christian Academy on her quest to become an ordained Minister. Needlepoint was a favorite hobby. She was an exceptional cook and gardener. When it came to flowers, she could grow anything and always had a beautiful yard, even in her later years. She enjoyed many trips to the ocean and the mountains over the years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers Ellery G. Busbee and Jessie M. Busbee; a sister, Alberta Grooms; and her first husband of 22 years, Inman F. Johnson.
