Richard H. Parr, 87, of 206 E, Yates St., died Wednesday, Nov. 4, 1981, in Tompkins Community Hospital.
He was a baker and chef and had worked in several bakeries in Ithaca. He was a Navy veteran of World War I and a member of the VFW. He was also a member of the Eagles Club.
Mr. Parr is survived by two sons, Thomas A. Parr Sr. of Newfield and Richard Parr Jr. of Ithaca; five daughters, Eunice Parr of Ithaca, Ruth Tuuri of Florida, Evelyn Schultz of Newfield, Audrey Pizzo of Elmira and Dorothy Burke of Ithaca; 20 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mabel Carlton of Ithaca.
