GORDO — Funeral services for Troy Anderson. 62, of Gordo will be held Wednesday at 4 p.m. at the Big Hill Church near the Fayette County line with the Rev. Chester Free and the Rev. Early Davis officiating. Burial will be in the Zion Cemetery with Stabler-Brown Service in charge.
Mr. Anderson, a retired lumber worker and farmer, died Monday at his home.
Survivors include his wife; four daughters. Mrs. Jewel Plowman of Gordo. Mrs. Ruth Skelton of Tuscaloosa, Mrs. Martha Collins of Northport, and Mrs. Mary Edna Davis of Houston; four sons, Redus Anderson and Eugene Anderson, both of Gordo, and Wayne Anderson and Leon Anderson, both of Tuscaloosa; two sisters, Mrs. Addie Hall and Mrs. Rosie Malone, both of Gordo; three brothers, Roy Anderson, Zeb Anderson and Floyd Anderson, all of Gordo; 21 grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
