WELLS, Daniel James, of Midlothian, Va., formerly of Saratoga Springs, N.Y., passed away January 27, 2018. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Ann and Howard Wells; and maternal grandfather, Nelson Dow. He is survived by his wife, Kimberlee; two children, Kaila and Tyler; his mother, Janet Dow Swears (Allie); father, Rick Wells (Kathy); grandmother, Alvina Dow; brothers, Randy Wells, Julian Gamache and Michael Damrath; sisters, Tracey Gamache, Pamela Bordeau and Rachelle Clark; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Daniel was a 1996 graduate of South Glens Falls High School in South Glens Falls, N.Y. He proudly served his country for 14 years as a Sergeant in the U.S. Army National Guard, having served one tour in Bosnia, two tours in Iraq and with Homeland Security in Mexico. He also served as a deputy for five years with the Chesterfield County Sheriff's Department. The family will receive friends from 9 to 11 a.m. Monday, February 5, 2018, at Bliley's-Chippenham, 6900 Hull Street Rd., followed by a funeral ceremony at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in the Virginia Veterans Cemetery at Amelia.
