AUTO COLLISION FATAL CLAUDe C. ABERCROMBIE
Claude Cuspart Abercrombie, 50, a native of Georgia, succumbed at 12:23 Thursday afternoon from injuries received when the auto in which he was riding collided head on with a truck, of the Cecil Bates company of Fresno, on Highway 99 about five miles north of Fresno. The accident occurred at approximately 10:45 Thursday morning.
Claud Abercrombie came to Madera from Georgia about 15 years ago and had been associated with his brother, J. I, Abercrombie, in dairy ranching in the Eastin district since his arrival. He
is survived by his wife, Mrs. Beatrice Abercrombie, two brothers, A. T. Abercrombie of Kansas and J. I. Abercrombie of Madera and three sisters, Mrs. Bessia Clayton ansuffered a broken leg and cuts and bruises and is reported recovering in the Dearborn hospital.
