Anita Lynn Kelly, age 62, of Elwood, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, January 28, 2018 at St. Vincent Mercy Hospital.
She was born in Harlan, Ky on July 22, 1955, to the late Theodore Kelly and Thelma (Casteel) Phillips. Anita worked for General Cage in Elwood for 19 years. She enjoyed gambling and was a very private person.
Anita is survived by her sister, Deanna Scott of Tipton; several nieces and nephews; and beloved her dog who was like her baby, Lilly. She was preceded in death by her parents, Theodore Kelly, and Thelma Phillips; son, Scott David Derrickson; and brothers , David and Dennis Kelly.
Cremation was chosen and no formal services will be held. Dunnichay Funeral Home has been entrusted with Anita's cremation arrangements
