Lloyd Coslet Dies at 57 Carmargo Lloyd Coslet, the father of Jackie Coslet, whose body was found last Sept. 2 buried near Murdock mine, died at 7 a.m. Sunday of a heart attack. Coslet, 57, had been under a physician's care for coronary trouble for some time, according to Douglas county Coroner Dr. J. Virgil Fishel. He had, in fact, suffered an attack on the evening of Jan. 23, the day Jackie's wife, Linda Kay Coslet, was sentenced to 18 to 48 months in prison for the murder of her husband. Mr. Coslet, immediately after the sentencing, had become angry about the short sentence and the prosecution. He has since been a patient at both Mercy Hospital in Urbana and in the Tuscola Memorial Hospital, Fishel said. Funeral services for Mr. Coslet will be 2 p.m. Tuesday in Keith Funeral Home in Villa Grove. Burial will be in Hugo Cemetery.

Mr. Coslet was born in Douglas County, a son of Clark and Nora West Coslet. He was a retired farmer. He married Evelyn Simmons on Dec. 31, 1937, in Rockville, Ind. He leaves his wife; mother of Murdock; daughter, Sharon LaMasters of Camargo; brothers, Dale and Paul, both of Tuscola; Marshall and Don, both of Murdock; sisters, Lorena Prosser of Tuscola; Louise Hoel of Newman; Beulah Hoffman of Murdock; and Marcella VanDeventer Camargo; amd two grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, a son and a grandson.
