Kenneth “Mike” Allen Springer, 72, went home to his Heavenly Father on Tuesday January 30, 2018 while at his home in Aurora, Missouri. He was born in Hurley, Missouri on February 11, 1945; the son of the late Edgar Allen and Muriel (Morris) Springer. He was united in marriage in Monett on August 15, 1981 to Romona Priest; she survives.
He was retired from 3M Corp where he had worked for 32 years before retiring and was of Christian Faith.
Mike is survived by his wife Romona of the home; one daughter: Destiny Perry of Monett; two sons: Brian Springer of Maryville, Missouri and Brad Springer of Aurora; two brothers: Gary Springer of Crane, and John Springer of Aurora, Missouri; four sisters: Margo Stine and Janice Maples both of Marionville, Missouri, Mary Ann Woods and Jenny Wilson, and seven grandchildren.
Mike was preceded in death by both his parents and one sister: Cathy Elliott
Visitation for Mike is being held on Friday February 2, 2018 from 6:00p.m. to 8:00p.m. at the Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home in Monett, Missouri. Graveside services are being held at 10:00a.m. on Saturday February 3, 2018 at the Monett I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Monett, Missouri.
Memorial donations for Mike may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
