Leonard Jerry Moore, 79, born in Newark, NJ, made his transition Jan. 20, 2018. A celebration of life will be held Thursday, Feb. 1, at 7:00 PM at Antioch Baptist Church, 640 S. Springfield Ave, Springfield, NJ. Visitation is from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at the church. Interment is Friday, Feb. 2, at 10:00 AM at Glendale Cemetery, Bloomfield, NJ. Arrangements are by Whigham Funeral Home.

Mr. Moore was a resident of Linden, NJ, for nine months and a former resident of Carteret, NJ, where he lived for three years. He was a retired Ford Motor Company assembly worker and U.S. Air Force veteran.

Mr. Moore was the beloved husband of Dolores Moore, and devoted father of Terri Moore-Wade, Karen Adams-Parker and Trina Adams-Boone. He was the dear son of the late Walter Howard Moore and Marie Louise Moore; loving brother of the late Gladys Moore and Walter Irving Moore. He was the cherished grandfather of six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He is also survived by a host of other relatives and friends.
