Following her graduation from West Fannin High School, she proudly served in the United States Army. Later, Patsy met and married the love of her life, the late, Jack Adams and together they began their family. As a devoted homemaker, her loving family was always her main focus and priority above all else. An avid bird watcher, Patsy also enjoyed crafts, building dollhouses, flowers, and she loved to read.
Her memory will forever be treasured by her son, Daniel Adams (Jamie Marie Byrd) of Vancleave, Mississippi; grandchildren, James Byrd, Aron Byrd, and siblings, Gilbert Young Dean, Jr. of Milner, Georgia, Stephen Eugene Dean of Murphy, North Carolina, Debora Lynn Bowen of Ellijay, Georgia.
Funeral services were held on February 2, 2018 in the Chapel of McCullough. Burial followed in Magnolia Park Cemetery.
