Shortly after graduation from Milano High School she moved to Houston with her family. She married John T. Miller and they had two sons, John Doyle and Thomas Eugene followed by two daughters, Patricia Louise and Donna Sue. She lost her husband shortly before the birth of daughter Donna.
She married James Douglas Webb in 1947. They had two sons who died at birth followed by son, James Randall, daughter, Sandra Gale and son, Donald Ray.
Margie retired from Maxwell House Coffee where she had over 30 years of service. In October of 1988, following the death of her youngest child Donald Ray, she left her home in Northshore and moved in with daughter Sandra and her family in northwest Houston. It wasn't long before she was working again. First babysitting for neighbors, then as a Nanny for several families. She happily gave that job up in June of 1998 when daughter Sandra and son in law Richard welcomed a precious little girl into the world. Hayley soon became her world! And as soon as Hayley could talk Margie became Doee (pronounced: dough-E).
Children, working in flower beds, elephants, chocolate, BINGO, scratch-offs and pulling one arm bandits were just a few of her favorite things!
Margie was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Addie Belle Wise and Nola Golan, husband, John Miller, ex-husband, James Webb, sons, JD (Dorothy) Miller, James Douglas Webb, Jr., Larry Webb and Donald Ray Webb, grandson, Eugene Miller, and granddaughter, Regina Gayle Shellshear.
She is survived by her children: Gene (Betty) Miller, Pat Wilburn, Donna (Tom) Miles, Randy Webb, Sandra (Robert Powell) Neels and Richard Neels whom she lovingly claimed as her son. Grandchildren: John Miller, Mike and Anthony (Angelia) Miller, Jeff and Tommy (Savanna Gray) Miles, Keith (Theresa) Wilburn and Kristi Stills, JR Webb, Matt Cone, Leslie (Wayne) Ford and Hayley Neels.
