William D. Winkler, Sr.
Services for William D. Winkler, St., 74, of 1520 Byron Ave., will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Memorial Park Chapel with burial in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mr. Winkler died Sunday morning at St. Francis Hospital of complications of a heart ailment.
He was born July 10, 1902, at St. Matthews, Ky., the son of William and Rosa Dell Winkler. He married Velma Rouse Oct. 18, 1946, in Nashua.
He was a veteran of World War II and had lived in Waterloo the past 29 years. He was a certified public accountant for Carney, Alexander Marold and Co., retiring in 1964.
Survivors include a son, William Jr., of 1520 Byron, and a sister, Mrs. Fanny Graff, Louisville, Ky.
Friends may call at O’Keefe and Town Funeral Home until 9 a.m. Tuesday.
