Lucille C. Duell, 91, of Greeley passed away on Monday, Dec. 5, 2016 at Meadowview of Greeley. She was born May 17, 1925 in Denver to James Frank and Lillie Agnet (Hansen) Brown.

She attended Auburn School and graduated from College High School in Greeley.

On July 27, 1944, Lucille married John Raymond Duell at the First Covenant Church in Greeley. She helped on the family farm and enjoyed sewing, reading, gardening, crocheting, knitting, playing the piano, visiting with friends and cooking. She was active in the West Kersey Club, Auburn Club as well as with church clubs.

Lucille is survived by a son, two daughters, daughter-in-law, two sons-in-law, four grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, brother, and two sisters-in-law [survivor's names omitted].

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband John on June 10, 2011 and her brothers, Robert and Morris Brown.

Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the Adamson Chapel. Interment Sunset Memorial Gardens. A reception will follow at the Adamson Reception Center.
