Obituary for Maurice "Moe" Alan George
Maurice “Moe” Alan George, son of the late Burless L. and Ruth B (Mitchell) George, was born July 2, 1961, in Rolla, Missouri. He departed this life January 25, 2018, in Missouri Baptist Hospital in St. Louis, MO, at the age of fifty-six years, six months and twenty-three days.

As a young man he grew up in the Hancock area and graduated from Crocker High School in the Class of 1979.

On January 2, 1981, Moe was united in marriage to Jeana Monell, and to this union three children were born. Two of his children went to Heaven as infants.

He later joined the United States Army and served his county faithfully for three years. After being Honorably Discharged from the military, he drove a truck for a living. In 2005 he took a job in Kuwait as a Military Contractor. He worked there until April of 2017, when he was sent home for health reasons.

In his spare time he enjoyed tinkering on his old truck and cutting wood. He loved helping his family out when he was home. He would help fix thing around the house or do general maintenance. He sacrificed things he needed for thing his family wanted.

"Moe” had professed his faith in Christ and had been baptized. He was a kind and caring man and everyone he worked with overseas has commented what a great man he was to work with.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Jeana George of Crocker, MO; his daughter, Charlotte Huffman and her husband, Jeff, of Waynesville, MO; five grandchildren, Christopher Carson and Cody Carson both of Crocker, MO, Tristan Wray of Lake Ozark, MO, Shawn Carson of Crocker, MO, and Kyle Huffman of Waynesville, MO; two great-grandchildren, Bailey and Maverick Carson; his brother, Gary George and his wife, Rita of Eldon, MO; a sister Virginia Berry and her husband, Kenneth of the State of New Hampshire; a number of nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.

In addition to his parents, Maurice was preceded in death by his daughter, Patricia Monell and his son, Maurice Burless George.

We celebrate his life and will treasure the memories he created for his family and friends. He will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him. He will live on in our hearts forever.
