Rosa Sue Kennedy, 55, of Brenton went home to be with her Lord on Monday January 29, 2018 following many years of declining health.
Born August 4, 1962 in Columbus OH, she was the daughter of the late James Willie Browning (1913-1991) and Ruby Kennedy-Browning (1930-2004). In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Michael "Mike" Kennedy Sr. (Deceased); her stepson, Michael Kennedy Jr. (Deceased); three brothers, John L. Browning (1960-2004), Lloyd H. Browning (1955-1963), and James S. Browning (1951-1963).
Those left to cherish her memory include her children Nichole Kennedy and her companion David, Alicia Kennedy-Mullins and her husband James Mullins, Jared Kennedy, Candace Kennedy; her stepchildren Mary Jane Kennedy-Davis, Carl Kennedy, Brian Keith Kennedy and his wife Kim Kennedy; eighteen grandchildren; five great grandchildren; two brothers and three sisters; and a very special friend that Rosa called “A living Angel” Millie Cantrell, and a host of nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
Services will be Friday February 2, 2018 at Noon in the chapel of Evans-Calfee Funeral Service in Pineville. Burial will follow in the Cline Cemetery in Long Branch WV.
