Gerald J. Gross, age 84, of Fond du Lac, died Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at his residence. He was born on February 15, 1933, the son of Harold and Winifred Gross. Gerald served in the United States Army in the Korean War and was in the Army Reserves for eighteen years. On April 18, 1953 he married Joyce [Surname Withheld] in Fond du Lac. Gerald was a mason, working for Rosenthal Construction, Hutter Construction, CD Smith, and for the State of Wisconsin at Waupun Correctional. He was a member of the VFW and American Legion and he enjoyed deer hunting and traveling to Branson. Most of all Gerald enjoyed going up north to his cabin in Florence.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Eugene.
A Mass of Christian Burial will follow the visitation at the church at 12 noon. Entombment will follow the service at Chapel of the Risen Christ Mausoleum, Calvary Cemetery.
