Mary was a member of the Church of Nazarene, in Columbus. She was a waitress and worked with the EVS department for St. John's Hospital, in Joplin, for 10 years.
Survivors include May's significant other, Butch Goden; daughter, Melissa Taylor and her significant other, David Dowling, of Diamond, Mo.; and beloved grandchildren, who May thought the world of, Kade and Kole Taylor. May was preceded in death by her brothers, Dallas and Bill Hunt; parents, James and Mary Brand and Loyd Hunt.
Services will be 1 p.m. Monday, Jan. 8, at Bath Naylor Funeral Home, in Columbus. Burial will follow at Osborne Memorial Cemetery, in Joplin.
