George M. Marshall, 56, of Fredericktown, Centerville Borough, passed away Sunday, January 28, 2018, in UPMC-Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh.

He was born May 30, 1961, in Washington, a son of the late George E. and Irene Kepich Marshall.

Mr. Marshall was a 1979 graduate of Bethlehem-Center High School.

He was formerly employed by Bethlehem-Center School district as a custodian and also a dispatcher for Ambulance and Chair Service at Richeyville Station.

Mr. Marshall was a lifetime member of St. Katharine Drexel Parish Richeyville Campus, a longtime member of Richeyville Volunteer Fire Department, a member of the Sons of the American Legion Post 705 Centerville, Miners Club Richeyville, where he formerly served as treasurer and the Athletic Club in Daisytown.

He enjoyed golfing and going to Meadows Casino.

Surviving is four cousins, Bonnie Zuro (Steve) and Mary Lou Leitner, both of Alexandria, Va., Marcy Kepich Martelli of Toledo, Ohio, and Mike Kepich (Linda) of Parma, Ohio.

Mr. Marshall was the last of his immediate family.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in John B. Greenlee Funeral Home, 2830 Main Street, Beallsville, where a blessing service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, February 1, with the Rev. Edward Yuhas officiating.

Interment will follow in LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill. Richeyville Volunteer Fire Department will conduct a service at 7 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home.
