Alvin Monroe Aaron, 89, of Monroe, died on January 28, 2018. He was born in Walton County on October 10, 1928 to the late James Monroe and Olivia Aaron.

He was married for 68 years to his wife, the late Catherine Aaron. He also served as a Mason in The Generous Warren Lodge for 50 years.

Alvin is survived by his children; daughters and sons-in-law, Sheryl and Charlie Peterson of Bostwick, Lynda Aaron of Monroe, Robyn and Barry McKissick of Monroe, Genny and Jim Hornsby of Lilburn; son and daughter-in-law, Jon and Teresa Aaron of Monroe; twin brother, Calvin Aaron of Kentucky; Sue Aaron of Tennessee. He had the pleasure of 13 grandchildren; Ashley Peterson, the late Andreana Partain, Jason Hester, Kylie Larsson, the late Kelli McKissick, Brad McKissick, Amy Bowen, Mary Elizabeth Hornsby, Jonathan Aaron, Megan Dooley, Christa Aaron, Kati Aaron, Kieren Aaron Cano; 15 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 3, 2018 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Meadows Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at Hill Haven Memory Gardens followed for the inurnment of Alvin and Catherine Aaron.

In honor of Alvin Aaron's life flowers may be sent to Meadows Funeral Home or a donation in the name of Mr. Aaron can be made to The Generous Warren Lodge #20. The address for the donation is 418 West Highland Avenue, Monroe, GA 30655.
