Mrs. J. B. E. Duford
Mrs. Mabel Duford, 14 Spadina avenue, a native of Hawkesbury and a parishioner of St. Francis church hospital. She was 42 years of age. here, died on Sunday at a local hospital.
She came to Ottawa in 1915 with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. James Moynahan and eleven years later married John Baptiste. Edgar. "Ted" Duford. She was a member of the Third Order of St. Francis.
In addition to her husband and parents she leaves two sons, Jean and Paul, and a daughter, Marguerite, all at home: four brothers. George of Windsor. Bob of Ottawa, Cyril "Curly." of the Ottawa Fire Department, Darwin of the Ottawa Police Force; six sisters, Mrs. W. Brownrigg of Ottawa. Mrs. A.. Everly of Detroit, Mrs. W. Cadieux of London, Ont. Mrs. J. R. Wilson of Manotick, Mrs. G. Guilbault of Ottawa and Miss Beatrice Moynahan of Ottawa.
The funeral will be held from her home on Wednesday morning to St. Francis church for celebration of requiem high mass. Burial will be in Notre Dame cemetery, Ottawa.
