Chris Allen Phillips, 55, of Richmond, VA, formerly of Princeton, died
Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at Henrico Doctor's Hospital in Richmond, VA.
Born August 24, 1962 in Princeton he was the son of B.J. Cooper Phillips of
Princeton and the late Harold Phillips. Chris was employed as a driver for a
transportation service in Richmond, VA.
He was formerly the Youth Pastor in Mechanicsville, VA at the Advent
Christian church where he served for nearly 30 years.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by one son, Aaron Todd Phillips and
his fiancee, Kayla Ashley Fox, both of Chantilly, VA; his former wife, Kari Y.

one sister, Lisa Phillips Goodman of Ashland, VA, and one nephew, Arick
Ryan Goodman of Virginia Beach, VA.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 AM, Saturday, January 27, 2018 at
the George W. Seaver Chapel of Seaver Funeral Home in Princeton with Rev.
Joseph A. Pritchett officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial
Gardens in Princeton. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
